Hackley Public Library has a variety of crafts, storytimes, and virtual events happening this month. Here are a few highlights of the fun to be had with HPL in April.
Youth Take and Make Craft
Bring to life the Iroquois and Lenape creation myth of the earth being carried on the turtle’s back and celebrate Earth Day with this adorable Earth Day turtle. Free craft kits will be available to pick up from Hackley Library beginning April 1 and through the end of month while supplies last. An instructional video will be posted on Facebook on April 5 at 3:00 pm and April 19 at 3:00 pm. Free.
Teen Take and Make Craft
We loved our pom-pom cactuses so much… we had to have a real one! Decorate your spring chick pot and top it off with your very own succulent. Craft kits will be available to pick up from Hackley Library beginning April 1 and through the end of the month while supplies last. Toddler Story Time
Enjoy all the best parts of story time from the convenience of your home! Join us for songs, stories, and movement activities on Thursday mornings at 10:30 am. Our Toddler Story Time is intended for children who enjoy shorter stories and more movement activities.
Preschool Story Time
Enjoy all the best parts of story time from the convenience of your home! Join us for songs, stories, and movement activities on Friday mornings at 10:30 am. Our Preschool Story Time is designed for children who prefer to follow along with longer stories.
