2021 Equestrian and Animal Experience Camps

Spending time with animals is not only fun, but it can help kids learn responsibility, compassion, and even about communication skills!

CranHill  is Located approximately one hour north of Grand Rapids and features a variety of traditional camp experiences as well as specialty camp options. From Horsemanship Camps to Adventure Camps backpacking Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, CranHill has a camp for your child. CranHill serves youth ages 7-17 years old for overnight camps, and ages 6-8 years old for day camps. Registration is now open and is on going through 8/16/2021.

Grace Adventures has been providing summer camp experiences for kids ages 7-17 for 50 years on our campus next to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Our mission is to Impact People with Jesus Christ and get the change to serve thousands of youth, adults, and families each year through our various ministries. Grace Adventures offers a variety of camp options, including equestrian based programming, so your camper can choose their own adventure this summer!


Humane Society of West Michigan, located in Grand Rapids, has day cams offering games, crafts, lessons, guest speakers and plenty of time with furry friends. Your child's camp registration fee goes right back to helping animals in our community.


Legacy Stables 'Own-A-Horse' Camplocated in Caledonia, gives kids the opportunity to experience what it is like to own a pony or horse for an entire week.  You will learn all aspects of horse care including feeding, grooming and stable management. And yes, you will have an opportunity to ride a horse every day! 


Pepper Oaks Equestrian Center, located in Muskegon, is offering six sessions of 3-day kid's camps. Campers ages 5-14 will learn horse safety, grooming and care as well as the basics of control and balance in the saddle through fun interactive games and individual riding time with our group of instructors.
