Camp Newaygo safely operated in 2020 and is ready for another great summer! We are staying up to date with recommendations from the CDC, the American Camp Association, and the State of Michigan in order to provide another COVID-Careful Summer.

Camp Newaygo is a great place to introduce the whole family to the outdoors through family weekends, Co-ed Day Camp, and Girls’ Overnight Camp. Mom & Me weekends in June are for young children and their moms, grandmothers, aunts or other special female adults. Family Weekend in August is a chance for everyone to come out to camp. Discover the joys of camping together. Sing, canoe, fish, hike, create, and recharge on these special weekends. Spend the night in camp’s dorms, cabins, or hotel-style accommodations; with all meals provided.

Girls’ Overnight Camp sessions help campers grow their resiliency, establish a love of the outdoors, and make long-lasting friendships. Co-ed Day Adventure Camp provides girls and boys days of outdoor fun and weekly adventures.

Located at the edge of the Manistee Forest on a chain of four lakes, Camp Newaygo programs create an engaging atmosphere for campers with a variety of activities including: 1000’ zipline, archery, kayaking, ceramics, darkroom photography, fencing, outdoor cooking, paddleboarding, sailing, swimming, tubing, ukulele lessons, wilderness trips and more.

Camp Newaygo is accredited by the American Camp Association. Our staff are CPR, First Aid, and Waterfront Lifeguard certified by the American Red Cross.
