Hope Summer Repertory Theatre is excited to offer a season of in-person, outdoor theatre classes and camps for students Pre-K to 12th grade! This season HSRT is offering all camps and classes in Spanish and English!  Partial and full day camps are available.

Our professional teaching artists will lead students through games and activities to expand the imagination, build creativity and confidence, while focusing on theatrical techniques. Our younger groups will be hopping into the world of the beloved children's books Frog and Toad, while our elementary schoolers create their own fairytales! Just want to run around and play theatre games? Play On is right for you! Love musical theatre? Join our Broadway Bound classes! Or if you have a deep love of all things theatre- join our two week theatre intensive, creating a full production as the Next Generation of HSRT.

HSRT is a professional summer theatre company located in beautiful Holland, MI. All students will receive a ticket to this season's theatre for young artist production of Frog and Toad as part of their registration. Use Code: MACKIDS10 to receive 10% off registration!

ACWL-Nuveen Summer Art Camps are the perfect activity for your child this summer! Offered each year for 10 weeks, 2021 camps will run from June 15 through August 20. Thanks to support from an anonymous donor, we are able to offer these 3 or 4-day camps for only $10/camp. Summer Art Camps are both fun and educational. They are designed for school-age children and taught by experienced artists and artist teachers. This year's 11 camps will cover a variety of topics including: paper mâché, acrylic painting, nature art, handcrafted artist books, drawing, dance and music. Each class will be held at the ACWL-Nuveen in Whitehall, MI unless otherwise noted.

Compass College of Cinematic Arts is offering a virtual camp where our unique approach to storytelling will help each of our camp attendees to understand how to craft a compelling story and capture it for today’s mediums – YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Our week-long camp provides virtual film lessons with industry professionals, and offers high schoolers a chance to express their creative perspective through a quarantine-themed short film challenge.

Grand Rapids Art Museum Virtual Summer Art Camp provides children and teens ages 4 through 15 with the opportunity to experience creativity and innovation during a one-week virtual experience! Campers go beyond the Museum walls to stimulate creative expression through daily live art-making activities and gallery tours with GRAM camp instructors. Campers learn collaborative problem-solving processes through hands-on art-making kits and enriching virtual communication.

GVSU Summer Writing Camps are for students who are interested in writing! They will meet and write with new friends. In person camps are being held in Allendale, Grand Rapids, Holland, and Plainwell during July and August. Our teachers will inspire creative thinking as young writers explore various styles and genres. Give your future author, poet, or journalist the chance to explore the wonders of writing with some of West Michigan's finest teachers. Each morning of camp, students enter an exciting environment and participate in activities that create a community of writers and provide nurturing support for developing authors. To prompt writing, campers and facilitators may travel from their campsite to various age-appropriate places of interest, learning, and inspiration. Virtual Write Your College Essay Workshop are also available for students applying to college in the fall.
