During one of their many trips to Patricia’s Chocolates in Grand Haven Michigan, Dr. Stork and his daughter shared this dilemma with Patty and her assistant. They suggested creating a very special chocolate, one filled with honey from their bees! The chocolatiers thought this was a great solution, and Dr. Stork’s Happy Hive Honey Chocolates was born. Now, their honey can be enjoyed as a lush ganache topped with edible gold leaf, and everyone is happy! In this size, more and more people can savor the amazing honey, and the bees are also happy and less stressed.
These adorable little hives are created especially for Dr. Stork with non-GMO 58% and 38% couverture chocolate (certified fair trade cacao bean, cane sugar, full cream milk), Stork Family honey, and full cream butter. They are decorated with edible 23k gold-leaf, and are all natural and without preservatives.

Since Patricia and Dr. Stork are big supporters of community, a portion of the proceeds from Happy Hive Chocolates are donated to Step Up in Muskegon, MI. Step Up is non-profit organization that supports young men and women during a stressful time of their own, transitioning into adulthood. Step Up provides these young men and women with a nurturing hive of their own, the Step Up House. Step Up’s purpose is to equip and empower young adults with the tools and skills to live self-sufficient, responsible, and productive lives.
