Hackley Public Library's Summer Reading program will run from June 14-August 14. This year's theme is Tails and Tales. This is an ongoing program for all ages. In addition to reading, there will be exciting activities to complete and cool prizes to win.
You can go anywhere in the pages of a book. Why not take your imagination on a trip this summer with Loutit District Library? Commit to reading at least 15 minutes a day for 35 days to create a daily reading habit. Log your days of reading on Beanstack or with your paper log to earn prizes. The program runs June 7-July 30 and is for all ages.
By completing activities on Beanstack, you can earn themed badges. These fun activities will keep you busy learning all summer long and increase your chances to win one of our grand prize drawings! Why not challenge your friends to see who can complete them all?!
The grand prize drawings include: A new bicycle for kids, a waterproof bluetooth speaker for teens, and a new Samsung tablet for adults!
Our summer reading program will be completely online through a program called Beanstack. Beanstack is accessible on a computer at sllib.beanstack.com or on a mobile device as an app called “Beanstack Tracker.” This year's program runs June 14-August 6.

MiLibraryQuest: Summer Edition 2021 is an opportunity for teens across the state to learn about unique animals and Michigan libraries! Teens will find descriptions of a variety of animals spread across the websites of participating libraries which they will enter into their digital field journal for an opportunity to win a prize! The Quest begins on June 1 and ends on July 31, 2021. The MiLibraryQuest challenge is created by public libraries across Michigan and is supported in part by the Library of Michigan.
Participation is a fun and easy way for kids to earn free books. They simply read a designated number of books – library books, books borrowed from friends or books bought at Barnes & Noble – write about their favorite part in our Reading Journal, and bring a completed Reading Journal to a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Children then choose their free book from the books listed on the Reading Journal and collect their free book from a store near them during July and August.
Enroll online and read your way toward a free one topping personal pan pizza.
