This week we focused on getting back into a routine of eating meals at home. Going out to eat was a bad habit that crept back into our busy lives, and it didn't take long to realize that we missed preparing meals together as a family chatting in the kitchen while we cook, and sitting around the dinner table talking about our day. Thankful for our slow cooker and our pressure cooker to make meal prep just a little bit easier!

March is Reading Month....
March is reading month. I have two kids who love reading, one who will read when required, and one who really struggles with reading. We have been working hard to help our youngest achieve his reading goals, and this 30 Day Reading Challenge was inspired by him. Finding ways to make reading fun are a top priority in my family! Get a FREE printable of the challenge here! Check off each box as your child completes it, and when at least 20 of the boxes are checked, submit a photo of your child and tell us which activity was their favorite for a chance to be featured on Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Muskegon Macaroni Kid! |

Our Weekly Adventure...
This week we saw "Bye Bye Birdie" at Coopersville High School. I was in this show when I was in High School, and watching it took me back to the days of being on stage. My apologies to all those around me who heard "We love you Conrad, oh yes we do!" on repeat following the performance! There are many more upcoming high school performances. Check out the amazing talent in our community. Here's a list of upcoming shows you might want to check out! |
