You know that feeling when you're about to do something for the first time, and you have it in your head how you want things to go, but you're still totally nervous? Wondering if things will work out how you planned. Hoping that it will be successful. Well, that was me this past weekend at Grand Haven Winterfest! When I reached out to Winterfest about being part of the event, I was excited and nervous all at the same time. After all, this was my first big event for Macaroni Kid Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Muskegon!
In just three short hours, over 200 ribbon twirlers left my table!! The creativity and determination of the kids, the patience of the adults, and the wonderful conversations are exactly why I'm grateful to be the publisher for your Macaroni Kid edition.
One of the highlights of the day was meeting some of you face-to-face and hearing what you love about Macaroni Kid, and being able to introduce myself to you as the "Mom behind the Macaroni". Knowing that I can be a small part of your family, helping you to find your family fun, sharing ideas, and immersing myself in the community is amazing!
I'm looking forward to continuing to connect with you and excited for all of the great things coming to Macaroni Kid Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Muskegon in 2020. Stay tuned -- and tell your friends!
