Pixie Doodles is a local children’s activity magazine. Kids from our local community submit artwork, stories, poems, and puzzles. Then we add other fun and engaging problem solving games and crafts and publish it in a magazine for your kids to enjoy!
When creator Carrie Bowen Kendro's daughter was about 7 years old, they thought it would be fun to put together a kids magazine for their neighborhood. They created games, puzzles, drawings and stories to share with all of the neighborhood families. They never stopped talking about that magazine, so they decided to share it with the community! The goal of Pixie Doodles is to get children to giggle and to think, and that parents, teachers, and caregivers can discover a fun, creative and engaging way to spend time with children as you flip through the pages together.
Pixie Doodles features artwork created by kids in the community, engaging puzzles, stories about art in our community, and more! Pixie Doodles has been featured in classrooms throughout Ottawa County, has been a road trip "survival guide" to keep kiddos busy during the long hours in the car, and has featured many "Pixie Prodigies" - kids sharing their talents!
